SPECIFIC MEANS

QUALIFIED WELDERS AND WELDING PROCEDURES

A mastery in welding with fine thickness is essential in the domain of expansion bellows. We use the TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) process for welds from 0.3 mm in the thickness using butt welding or lap welding  .

Other processes can be applied for welding the connections (welding ends, flanges, etc.) or accessories of the expansion joints (gussets, hinges, etc.) depending on the type and thickness :

  • MIG (Metal Inert Gas)

  • MAG (Metal Active Gas)

  • Arc (Coated eclectrode)

QUALIFICATIONS

TYPES OF WELDING

A Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) is drawn up for each type of welding, per order and per drawing, and is integrated with the corresponding Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) in a welding log specific to each production .

We have a panel of 750 PQRs.
